Create a photography website

Photography has been my hobby for the past 10 years. I began taking pictures when my grandfather gifted me with a camera when I was 10 years old. At that time, digital cameras have yet to come into existence. My first camera was called an “instamatic” camera – the one that you point and shoot without making any adjustments. The only difference between this and the digital camera that we have now is the need to put a roll of film into it. It is a universal truism that a picture is worth a thousand words. It is created as an expression of individualism. It is a storehouse of memories from the past. It helps carry us on to the future. It is likewise a statement of how much to reveal, how intense the sharing will be and how far the link or bond with special people goes.

There must be a way to store these wonderful photos. I was wondering about this when I found my old photos yellowing with age. A simple browsing through the internet revealed that there are countless ways to preserve photos. This free photography website was as

Beauty is in the eye of THE beholder.

During one of my photography classes, our instructor asked all 15 members of the class to take a picture of the tree growing just outside our building. It was a simple pine tree. I gazed at the tree and planned on how to take the picture. It was our assignment for next meeting.
Off we all went. Some of my classmates planned on taking their photos at various times of the day. Some went right off and clicked as fast as they can. Some tiptoed. Some bent. I never thought taking a picture can be an art. I had been handy with a digital phone, one of those phones that you buy off the counter at any store that offers it. It comes in those flashy colors of neon blues, hot pinks and blazing reds. It is very easy. Just point and click. I never entertained any ideas about color and lighting and angles. The digital phone with its built-in buttons and adjustments took care of all that. I kept on taking pictures and was complimented on those. Since then, I got hooked. Read the rest of this entry »

I am what you call a photographer by hobby. And guess what my subject is? Women. Yup the best and the most beautiful women are my subject, and it is an awesome experience since I get to go around the night spots, introduce myself, and make them the subject of my photography. I pick then randomly, and not only do I have fine subjects for my photography, I get to have new friends as well. The thing is , women love fame. They want to be popular subconsciously. So what I do is amplify that, tell them that I’ll take random shots and posed shots of them that’ll only take minutes, and they love the idea that I’ll post it on my photography website. I know a lot of people who are going gaga over photography. For some reason there is a craze about taking photos with Digital SLR cameras that only professional photographers used to have. This is probably because people nowadays value their experiences more and would take a souvenir shot of every event in their life. I must admit, it is always nice look at pictures and reminisce old fun memories. I also know some people who bought their Digital SLR cameras due to peer pressure. Photography remains to be one of the most popular hobbies at present times. Many claim it is such an expensive hobby but more really do not mind. There is inexplicable pleasure in seeing vivid photographs you have taken, and double pleasure in being able to present them and elicit ooohs and aaahhs from people who find them breathtaking and just perfect. Of course when you post them in websites you may not actually hear the ooohs and aahhs but with comment boxes and forums integrated in your website, you can definitely feel the admiration and respect of your fans and peers, your fellow hobbyists and photography enthusiasts who know an exquisite work of art when they see one – like yours. Photographs bring back memories, bring back the smiles, bring back the tears and most of all bring back the moment we loved or bring back the emotions we missed. A photography website is a brilliant idea so people can converge to share moments of their lives. The innocent smile of that baby their holding, the cuddling of the lovers, the people on the streets, the wonderful birds, the colorful flowers or anything under the giant sun worth capturing or stealing to record the blending of the color and light to keep it alive in a glossy paper.
